Artists include Kitty Margolis, Marlena Shaw, Mary Stallings, John Handy, Dave Hazeltine Buddy's granddaughter Mykah Montgomery and members of Buddy's long-standing, original band. A special concert honoring one of the most influential and original jazz singers of our time, featuring the “next generation” of vocal jazz artists who emerged with the help of Murphy’s mentorship, influence and support during his residency in San Francisco in the 80’s. Each of this evening’s performers has gone on to establish her own strong and unique presence on the world jazz scene. There will an opportunity to meet and greet Mark after the concert.
