Don't have a manager? An agent? A record company? More and more jazz artists are choosing to take charge of their own careers. How can the self-managed, self-produced artist create an international presence? Kitty Margolis & Madleline Eastman--cofounders of the independent label Mad-Kat Records--will share their strategies for nurturing a unique musical vision while navigating a viable career outside the constraints of the major corporate music labels.
