Raves from Private Students:

"Kitty is the hippest, most fun teacher I've ever had for anything. She has an amazing way to strip away any feelings of self-conciousness, and help you explore what you may not have known was there. Kitty's enthusiasm and passion for her craft is infectious, whether it's on stage or in the classroom. It's totally exciting to be around that kind of talent and to have Kitty as a mentor and coach."

"Through her imaginative approach and devotion to handing down the written and unwritten rules of jazz, Kitty helped me identify and tackle a lot of the challenges I face as a musician - especially a female musician - and in launching a career in this field. I learned so much in the 6 years that I studied with Kitty. Every lesson left me with a surge of excitement and tons of creative ideas about how to develop my goals. I recently put out my first CD and had an exciting CD release party at Yoshi's - I never could have done this without all the pearls of wisdom and encouragement she bestowed on me throughout the years. Kitty is a fantastic teacher and a wonderfully warm-hearted person too! "
